Soccer is in the air. The FIFA World Cup is winding down and soccer season has started at County Rec for the Hindsight Bride and Groom. We are definitely of the family-that-plays-together kind. So when I say this image, I showed it to D. immediately. "Whoa," he said. "Trash the suit?" Awww he's absorbed the lingo. It's Strawberry Season in Western North Carolina

We are coming to an end of a wonderful local strawberry season in western North Carolina. I have a huge $10 tub-o-strawberries I've been munching on for the past couple of days. There is nothing quite like a fresh, sun-ripened local strawberry. They don't need much adornment. They are simply great on their own.
