Ming Makes {Aaah-maaazing} Cupcakes
If you are a cupcake lover and you have not seen Ming Makes Cupcakes, get your butt over there now!!! {But come back immediately ;-) } She has some incredible looking, and I'm sure tasty cupcake eyecandy and recipes.
One that caught my eye in particular: Sour cream raspberry Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting. Everything about this cupcake screams summer wedding. The raspberries are festive, in-season, and, in my humble opinion, one of the tastiest berries out there. I also love cream cheese frosting because it's generally not nasty-sweet.

Unlike other disposables, these bamboo plates are tres chic
Not only are they prettier than plastic or syrofoam plates, they're better for the environment too.

Of Course, It's Kentucky Derby!!!
What do I love about the Kentucky Derby besides Mint Julep? Hats of course! And with the Royal Wedding making hats and fascinators more popular than ever, I can see hats making a big comeback, whether royal wedding related, Kentucky Derby related, or just for fun.

I saw a whole bunch of potted herbs at Trader Joe's the other day and craved a little indoor herb garden in my kitchen. I would love to see green again at this point. The snow is melting fast, but it takes a while to melt out a 25 foot base.
I'm kicking myself for not buying the lavender. There's nothing more summery than lemonade, and no lemonade more sophisticated and refreshing than lavender lemonade.

Mix + Match Thrift Store Champagne Glasses
I've been on a champagne kick lately. Maybe it's because our wedding anniversary is coming up and I have a bottle of Perrier-Jouët in the fridge, ready to go. And, as most of you know, I'm always on a thrift store kick, especially for finding glass. That's why I love this idea. If you're serving champagne cocktails as your signature drink, why not use mix and match stemware you've found from thrift stores. You can usually score glasses for 50 cents or a dollar.
