I spy with my little eye some sweet, whimsical, woodland goodness. I spotted these delights over on MaeMae Paperie. They remind my of a very important fact in Mountain wedding style: not everything has to be pinecones and barn wood. These lovely invitations evoke a snuggly, whimsical feeling. Combined with the foliage and green and brown color palette, they'd be perfect for a camp wedding.

Ajalon Printing and Design Review
This post has been such a long time in coming. A while back, I "liked" Invitations by Ajalon on Facebook, and then tweeted about it. As happens online, that started a conversation between Ajalon and me about the perfect letterpress designs for mountain brides and culminated a gorgeous sample pack being sent my way. Thank you Ajalon!!!

I was frantic this weekend. Hindsight Groom and I are the proud parents of a border collie and an Australian Shepard. I wanted to get Hindsight Groom a Dog-Dad father's day card and had spaced it until Friday. Luckily a little Twitter action helped me over the hump and pointed me in the right direction. (A million thanks to Southern California Wedding Photographer, Cori @CorinneKrogh who send along some ideas.)
A few Etsy searches later I found this little gem:

Unlike other disposables, these bamboo plates are tres chic
Not only are they prettier than plastic or syrofoam plates, they're better for the environment too.

According to bio-compostable company World Centric:

Lace always reminds me of montains
I don't know what it is, but lace always reminds my of mountains. When I'm in the west, it reminds me of the old west of the nineteenth century full of spunk and a can-do attitude. In the southern mountains I think of sweet country living and down-home hospitality. In New England, lace reminds me of traditional and formal entertaining. Lace just fits everywhere.
