Printable wedding invitations are an affordable option to custom wedding invitations. In fact, one of the most popular posts on the Hindsight Bride is the vintage bicycle printable wedding invitation kit by e.m. papers. (You can also download the entire suite for $10 bucks! The suite includes, RSVP cards, escort cards, thanks you cards, and a menu. Find it HERE.)

Yes, they’re free, but keep in mind you’ll also have to pay for materials. You’ll also want to practice and buy enough paper and materials to allow for mistakes. Figuring it all out can be tough, especially if you’ve never printed on such a large scale before. (more…)

Today I have a most special guest post from a longtime Hindsight Bride favorite, e.m.papers. You’ll recognize her work from one of the most popular blog posts on HSB: free download of the Vintage Bicycle Wedding Invitations.
Like me, Eleanor, the creative force behind e.m. papers was a DIY bride, and like me Eleanor had two weddings. And like me, Eleanor has a little hindsight advice for you today.

Rogue Bride sent out her Save the Dates and lo and behold, I got one! Thanks Rogue! She’s a classy lady. Basically, I offered to do her Day-of coordination and the sweetie pie in turn sent me real-deal Save the Dates – like I’m a real guest or something. Awwww. Of course, I have to blog about it. So I called Rogue and asked her to share her tips.

OMG I Found the Motherlode
Aptly named the Graphics Fairy, this blog has hundreds of free, downloadable vintage prints. Karen, the woman behind this extraordinary blog scans and published vintage graphics that are in the public domain, meaning they were produced before 1923. There are so many lovely botanical and Audubon inspired prints. Perfect for invitations, table numbers and other DIY paper elements at a woodsy, outdoor wedding!

Is there really such a thing as rustic mid-modern? I wouldn’t have believed so before I saw this “Bride + Groom” sign with sweet homemade lettering tied with ribbon hanging from branches. Brilliant! Steal this idea mountain brides!
