What a Great Idea For Your Bridesmaids Shoes!

You've heard of mix and match bridesmaids dresses, how about mix and match bridesmaid shoes? The concept is the same, choose a color, and let your 'maids pick out their own style. Maybe they already have something in their closet, saving them money. Scratch that! Who doesn't love a good excuse to buy shoes!!!

I love it when I'm on the same page as some of my favorite bloggers on the interwed. Last week I saved the following image from The Wedding Chicks. Today, I was thrilled to see Always a Blogsmaid posting about bridal ballet flats too! Ballet flats are cute no matter what size you are, but their especially handy if you're a tall bride with a not-so-tall groom.

These flats are particularly fantastic for a fall mountain wedding. 1) They're brown, a classic fall wedding color. 2) They have a lace overlay, a classic rustic fabric. and 3) They're adooooorable!

A Perfect DIY Boutonniere for Climbers

I found this gem over on A Subtle Revelry. Victoria originally designed these for a nautical-themed wedding, but I think it would also be a perfect boutonniere for a rock climbing or mountain climbing couple.
