Location, Location, Location
I absolutely love the sweetness and charm of Tim and Nicole's mountain wedding. And this location is out of this world! They were married at the gorgeous Figueroa Mountain Farmhouse on California's central coast. Santa Barbara Wedding Photographers Austin & Dara, who graciously shared this wedding, have this to say about the location:
The farmhouse and surrounding landscape is definitely not your typical California experience, but that’s what is so cool about it! It actually reminded us of a destination wedding that we shot out in Montana 2 years ago.
Indeed, it has all of the rustic elegance of a rocky mountain wedding to me too. Many of you many not automaticallcy think of California when you think of western mountains, but as one who hails from the Sierra Nevada, I can tell you this is a quitessential western moutain wedding.
I love this building. I love venues that are just a bit different, venues that inspire. I believe a venue can speak volumes by about a couple and their families. What made me fall absolutely head over heels for this wedding is this old cabin, with it's mid-century concrete chinking and stucco fireplace. It reminds me of a classic mountain cabin.
Everything about this wedding is simple and sweet, except for the views. The panoramic views of the mountains are stunning! I love how the couple let the beauty of the location speak for itself, incorporating small, simple, and elegant touches.
