Don't be afraid to spend time with your girlfriends; don't let guests drink and drive; and you get what you pay for…
I am just thrilled to kick off this week with Heather, the first Real Hindsight Bride. Heather got married this spring and (along with her photographer Steffi from Cariad Photography) have graciously agreed to share both this beautiful wedding and her own Hindsight Advice.

Biltmore Weddings are as Elegant and Swoon-Worthy as Ever!!!
All images from Woodward + Rick via June Bug Weddings
Early in my blogging life I posted about an inspirational Biltmore wedding shot by Woodward and Rick and featured on Style Me Pretty. Well Woodward + Rick has done it again. Not only have they captured the grace and elegance of a beautiful biltmore wedding, they are also featured on the lovely Junebug Weddings Blog. {Lot's of local pride here!}

Chandeliers add a touch of elegance to any wedding, whether a rustic outdoor fete or a classic ballroom wedding.

I first saw chandeliers back in 2008 when I started planning my own wedding and I am so pleased to see that they are still popular. They add a touch of grandness and elegance that is classic for twentieth century weddings.

Plus Sized Mother of the Bride Dress Round-up
{A very hearty thank you to ♥ The Knotty Bride ♥ for inspiring this post}

I love how this pulls in the waist for a curvy silhouette

The Hindsight Mom was a plus-sized mom. (That is before learned she was diagnosed with diabetes and subsequently started eating right and exercising. She dropped about a bazillion pounds. You go Mom!)

Jess and Aaron's Real Western North Carolina Wedding
I am so pleased to bring you Jess and Aaron's DIY mountain wedding at Cataloochee Ranch, captured by Torrence Photography. It is the absolute epitome of rustic, mountain, DIY charm. The bride groom and family all worked together to make this wedding happen. The make-do culture has a long history in the southern mountains, where steep terrain and sparse population made it difficult to move goods in and out of the region. This wedding definately captured the spirit of community, family, and fun in the southern mountains. Enjoy!
